CINCINNATI, May 8, 2009 — Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS), an international communications and information technology company, was honored with five prestigious industry awards for its latest television and radio broadcast transmission solutions at the 2009 National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) convention held April 18-23 in Las Vegas.
Honored products include the Maxiva™ line of UHF TV transmitters, which won Broadcast Engineering magazine’s Pick Hit award and TV Technology magazine’s STAR award (Superior Technology Award Recipient); the Intraplex® HD Link™ STL (studio-to-transmitter link) transport solution, which won Radio World newspaper’s “Cool Stuff” award and Radio magazine’s Pick Hit award; and the HPX™ Series of high-power HD Radio™ tube transmitters, which also won a Radio magazine Pick Hit award.
